Overview
The Government contracted project management services for a department digitalization project with agile implementation.
Objective
To manage the software customization processes with the development vendor and to coordinate project activities for the Government.
Work Done
Managed the stakeholder engagement to provide feedback to the vendor on the quality of the deliverables.
KBDI facilitated the validation sessions in collaboration with the vendor and key stakeholders so that variances could be documented after testing by the end users.
We conducted update meetings with the vendor’s project manager to monitor risk responses and resolve issues. We also tracked monthly project progress and reported it to the ministry’s accounting officer.
KBDI coordinated workflow mapping, user acceptance validation, and staff training on the new systems and procedures.
Outcomes
All legacy data and systems assets were converted to SQL formats for data migration. The workflow mapping and training resulted in increased departmental efficiency.
